  ►    Mechanism of Drug Drug Interaction :  Halofantrine should not be given with or after mefloquine because of the increased potential to induce hazardous cardiac arrhythmias, Ketoconazole given with or after mefloquine may increase serum concentration and the elimination half-life of mefloquine, potentially increasing the risk of QT-interval prolongation and arrhythmia. There is an increased risk of convulsions when mefloquine is used with chloroquine, quinidine, or quinine.,
