Adult Dose

4 Multiple myeloma Oral 6 mg Tablet For 2 to 3 weeks adjusted according to the blood count; treatment is then stopped for up to 4 weeks until the white blood cells and platelets counts increase.
5 Breast cancer Oral 150 micrograms/kg Tablet Daily or 6mg/m2 Daily for 5 days, repeated every 6 weeks.
6 Polycythaemia vera Oral 6 10 mg Tablet Daily for 5 to 7 days and then 2 to 4 mg daily, have been used for remission induction; a dose of 2 to 6 mg weekly has been used for maintenance.
7 Multiple myeloma IV 400 micrograms/kg Injection As a single agent or 16 mg/m2, infused over 15 to 20 minutes; the first 4 doses may be given as 2 week intervals, but further doses should be given at 4 week intervals depending on toxicity.
8 Malignancy IV 100 240 mg/m2 Injection In neuroblastoma.
9 Melanoma Regional arterial perfusion 0.8 1.5 mg/kg Injection
