Precaution :- If a Patient is using 'Vecuronium Bromide' drug in  MYASTHENIA GRAVIS  disease, then Please Use with caution .

►  Side Effect : Tachycardia and a rise in blood pressure, Reduction in blood pressure with compensatory tachycardia, Reduces gastrointestinal motility, Histamine release may also lead to wheal-and-flare effects at the site of injection, flushing, occasionally bronchospasm

►  Drug Interaction : Drug interaction of Vecuronium Bromide is with NA

►    Mechanism of Drug Drug Interaction :  Some drugs may influence neuromuscular transmission and thus interfere with the action of both competitive and depolarising neuromuscular blockers, resulting in potentiation or antagonism of neuromuscular block. Some interactions may be advantageous, such as the reversal of competitive neuromuscular block by anticholinesterases. In general, adverse interactions are potentially more serious in patients with impaired neuromuscular function.

►  Contraindication : Hepatic impairment, Renal impairment, Caution is also needed in patients with a history of conditions such as asthma where release of histamine would be a hazard., Care is also required in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any neuromuscular blocker because high rates of cross-sensitivity have been reported.

►  Mechanism of Action :   Vecuronium bromide is an aminosteroidal competitive neuromuscular blocker. It act by competing with acetylcholine for receptors on the motor end-plate of the neuromuscular junction to produce blockade.
